Breakdown Sheet – Blender add-on
A downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Breakdown Sheet makes the asset breakdown that portfolio and game-art reviews ask for. Select your objects, press Render Breakdown in the N-panel, done.
What you get
- Four pass renders as PNGs: Beauty, Clay, Wireframe and UV checker
- A contact sheet with tris and verts (after modifiers), materials, texture sizes and average texel density
- A JSON file with the same numbers for your pipeline
- Optional turntable as PNG sequence or H.264 MP4
- Objects without UVs are flagged in orange, so a missing unwrap does not slip through
Your scene stays as it was
Everything renders in a temporary scene. Your render settings, camera, world, materials and selection are never edited, also when a render fails halfway.
Requirements
Blender 4.2 or newer. Install as an Extension: Edit › Preferences › Get Extensions › Install from Disk, then pick the ZIP. No extra Python packages. Tested headless on Blender 5.2.2 (Windows) with an automated suite of 125 checks.
Known limits
- Blender is busy while it renders, like F12; no cancel button
- Geometry Nodes, particle and collection instances are not rendered; realize them first
License
GPL-3.0-or-later. You get the full source.
