Script Proofreader for Ren'Py – word count per character, route map & broken-jump finder (RenPy 8)

• A red pen for the things that crash or confuse: jumps to labels that don't exist, duplicate labels, speakers without a define, labels no route reaches, images it can't find, characters who never speak, and your own TODO notes, each with file and line

Your script never leaves your computer. Everything runs in the page, nothing is uploaded. Only .rpy files are read; image files are only checked by name. You can also download the tool and open index.html offline.

Good to know

• Works with Ren'Py 7 and 8 projects. Python blocks, screens and styles are skipped, so code strings don't count as dialogue.
• It reads your script, it doesn't run your game. Images and jumps that your code builds at runtime (renpy.image, jump expression) can show up as warnings, and the tool tells you when your project does this.
• On phones you can pick single .rpy files; folder picking needs a desktop browser.
